A nice little V Mount plate. Solid build. I’m able to power my EVA1, SmallHD 502, and Atomos off it with no problems.

This was my very first V -Mount plate for my Z Cam E2C, and I love the amount of Dtap you have.

This is a great power v-mount battery plate that has the perfect break cable away with a 5.5mmx2.1 barrel connector. Works great as backup power a run or charge a LiveU200/300.

Bought this to power my Canon C300 mkIII, and it’s great in terms of the core job: providing power. My only concerns are build quality and how well it will hold up to the rigors of production; the open back that makes the internals seem vulnerable to damage; and that the holes are not lining up with my cheese plate for easy mounting. I’m bought a new SmallRig cheese plate and will update after I try using that as the base for this adapter.

I have not had this long, so this is a preliminary review about fit and finish. First, you are probably going to want a cheese plate like this: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00QUX1WV2/, with which this adapter plate fits very nicely. Once attached to that plate this fits nicely into my rig. Having d-taps on both sides of the adapter plate has been ideal for shortening my cable runs. Batteries go on very easily, attach solidly, and are easy to remove. So far, no complaints.

This thing is, AWESOME! I use with for my custom rig that I built around my Sony A7SII. This is attached to a cheese plate onto 15mm rods connected to my camera and external audio mixer/recorder. With the option to have a dummy battery built into the adapter plate really makes a difference and takes the work out of electrical if you are worried about sending power to your precious camera like me. So far for 4+ hours straight indoor and outdoor in the summer this works with no issues! It powers my camera, monitor and audio recorder!
