Transform your portrait photography with the TTArtisan 75mm lens – the gold standard that professional photographers reach for when they want to capture subjects with breathtaking clarity and depth! This versatile focal length is the sweet spot for both intimate close-ups and elegant full-body portraits, rendering skin tones with natural vibrancy while creating that coveted professional look. The generous F2.0 aperture is your secret weapon in challenging lighting conditions, gathering enough light to keep shooting when others would need to pack up. When fully open, it creates that dreamy, creamy background blur that makes your subject pop while maintaining tack-sharp focus on the eyes – the hallmark of premium portrait photography.Where this lens truly shines is its intelligent focusing system, combining STM and stepping motor technology to track eyes, animals, and even vehicles with remarkable precision. This means less time fussing with focus and more time capturing those fleeting expressions that make portrait work so rewarding. The tactile, clickable aperture ring puts creative control at your fingertips, allowing you to dial in exactly the right amount of light and depth of field for your vision. Whether you’re a professional portrait artist or an enthusiast looking to elevate your people photography, this lens delivers gallery-worthy results that will make both you and your subjects fall in love with your images!

This is a great option for those looking for a budget portrait lens. It performs well and will give you some nice dreamy bokeh for a fraction of the cost of other lenses. Auto focus does a decent job, but it is not lightning fast like a G Series lens would be.

It’s not an amazing lens, and for the price, you wouldn’t expect it to be. It’s really decent for what you are paying though. The f2 aperture lets in a decent amount of light and 75mm is a good portrait length.

Great inexpensive lens, sharp around f2.8 but at f2 it works great for portraits. You get a very shallow depth of field and the skin looks nice. I have used this on a photoshoot doing headshots and the client loved the photos. The focal length is great around waist up so perfect for actor headshots.
