I bought the Tamron 10-24mm F/3.5-4.5 Di-II VC HLD lens which was used i notice it was not sharp so after research i found out that these newer lens have firmware inside of them which needs to be updated.Plus you can adjust the focus and sharpness on the lens.. So after the firmware update left the lens like the factory had it and it was razor sharp so if you have any newer tamron lens then this item is a must have product .. i dont know why major camera companys like nikon and cannon does not have this item for there lens

It took a little while to figure out the connection and downloading of the utility, but once done; it seemed to work alright. Their literature says it will work on Windows 11, but the download for my lens would error out at 30%. I hooked up to a gaming computer running on Windows 10 and it completed its task just fine.The number of Tamron lenses this can be used on is sowewhat limited (newer models). The Tap-On is nice to have, especially if you are looking to use your Tamron DSLR lenses on a mirrorless camera (with an adaptor).
