This is a small lightweight video recorder that will also take pictures and record audio.It was easy to use right out of the box as soon as I discovered which button performed which feature (you can see by the date on my photos). I like the infrared feature and within about 10-15 feet it was not too bad in infrared mode. Picture image megapixels range from the standard 8MP to 48 MP. Larger megapixels will take up more space. I get decent photo quality with 20 MP.Video is selectable from 1080P to 720P to 480P. Reminders me of a very basic dashcam resolution. Imaging was not that bad for just recording what is happening. I like how the lens can flip and will auto-adjust itself so you can use the lens with the small display (if you are wearing it) or flip it to record in front with the display behind. With the 1/4″ screw mount there is a variety of mounting options. I will try this with an adhesive mount in my RC car to see what it looks like. My granddaughter also loved it for recording adventures on her bike or at night.Menu has multiple settings but nothing too elaborate. Expected for a device designed to record what you encounter during a day or night. The SOS Alarm Button flashes blue and red lights with an alarm. It is not ear-shattering but could be heard within my home from a different room.There were a couple of challenges. The camera is small which is fine but the control buttons are also small and a bit difficult to find in the dark. They Audio, Infrared and SOS buttons are almost flush with the body and difficult to feel.The accessories vary from a rather cheap tripod to a decent lanyard. I liked the USBA to USB-C adapter for charging through a power port and the bike mount works well.It came with a 64GB SD Card.Instructions are not lengthy and worth the read to get an idea of the features available.Overall this is a nice little camera designed to record personal events for about 6 hours of constant recording. Besides its specified use for security guards and others who need a video record, I thought it was great for kids/teens and really appreciate the simple 1/4″ screw hole for a wide range of mounting options.

I picked this up on a whim as I love cameras – using them, testing them, reviewing them. My hopes for this were not all that high, but I was excited to try it out. I was impressed when it arrived. It comes packaged in a well-designed box with magnetic closure (though the box could use some graphics and information about the camera!). Inside is a camera that seems surprisingly well made. It feels solid, not cheap, and it is a complete kit: camera, 64GB microSD card (surprising at this price!), miniature tripod, USB-C charging cable, readable user guide, etc. All of the controls on the camera are intuitive and work well, though the buttons are small (due to the size of the camera), which makes reading the icons on them a challenge to read. If you rely on reading glasses, as I now do, this is a little frustrating until you learn what each button is for, but it is not a big issue. You can use this to snap photos, record video, or even just record audio. Due to computer challenges at the moment, I’m not able to include samples here, but I will update my review as soon as I can to include these. The camera has a very wide field of view, similar to a GoPro, which is what you want in a body-cam type of camera. The video quality was surprisingly good in terms of color, contrast, and focus. However, it seems to me that the camera is not capturing true/native FHD (1920 x 1080) but rather upscaling it. I have a high-end display on my laptop which accentuates this, but on lower resolution displays, I don’t think this will be as much of an issue. Overall, for the price, I am really impressed with this kit. If you have more to spend, you’re probably better off getting a tru action camera (like a GoPro), but if you are looking specifically for a body-cam, or just a tiny camera to keep on hand, this is worth the money.
