Ms. Amira Boehm DVM –
For $20 this thing is a no-brainer. I’ve been using a different version of this for years, and I just purchased some new ones. They take up absolutely no space at all. It folds up the same way that the large circular diffusers fold up. But once this is folded up it’s only about 5 or 6 in in diameter and almost completely flat. So it takes up absolutely no space in your backpack. You might even be able to throw this in one of those camera sling fanny pack type of things. The downside is that this thing looks and feels cheap when you’re using it. But, the fall off is really impressive if you know how to shape light. I always have one or two of these stashed in a bag somewhere for either an emergency backup or if I’m just out on the street and need some fill light. I wrap mine around my AD100’s. Before I had my AD100’s I used them with speed lights on a very regular basis to build a portfolio for my mobile business. Set up isn’t perfect, but it’s definitely quicker than traditional softboxes. And it only takes 20 to 30 seconds once you understand how to use it.Honestly, I can’t recommend these things enough for super minimalist / mobile photography setups.

I like it. Fits just barely on my ad100 and godox v1 but it does fit and it works pretty well in a pinch.
