This is a very nice 4-pack ND/CPL filter by Neewer. Not only can you control the exposure but also reduce reflections from reflective surfaces with all of their filters. I’m not sure any of my other ND filters can do that. In terms of quality, these filters are well-made, they are made of optical glass with an aluminum frame. I also like that it includes a small hard case that can secure and protect the filters. So far I’m very happy with this filter and can highly recommend it.

The media could not be loaded.If you have a DJI Action 4 and want to have realistic motion blur in your video then you will need to follow the 180° shutter rule (shutter speed should be set to double your frame rate, ie. Shooting 30fps you need to use 1/60 shutter speed) and use manual mode on your camera. The caveat is with those settings in your action camera the whole video’s exposure will be blown out and too bright even at the lowest ISO and that is when ND filters come into play. The ND filter is like sunglasses for your camera lens. The brighter it is outside the higher the strength filter you will need to use (usually no higher than 16 I have found for video). With an ND filter you will be able to achieve the proper exposure necessary for perfect motion blur. Filming in auto on your action cam without ND filters makes your video look choppy (stuttery) and unnatural with no motion blur. These NEEWER ND filters work great and also have a built in CPL (polarizing) filter which you can turn to reduce glare on water, windows or other reflective surfaces. The high strength filters (ND32 and ND64) are more geared for long exposure photography but I would never want to use an action cam for a still photo camera myself. These filters come in a nice magnetic case and are pretty much a necessity for your DJI Action 4 if you want the best quality video with natural motion blur and I highly recommend NEEWER products.

This is a good set of filters for shooting video outdoors. The ND filters allow you to get a good exposure without sacrificing video quality. And having the polarizer filter built in to each of them is convenient and helps to keep they sky blue instead of it getting blown out.These are tiny little filters, so they might be annoying to work with if you have big fingers. And even if you don’t, keeping fingerprints off the filters is still a challenge. Neewer does include a microfiber cloth for keeping them clean though.They are also very thin, so reading the ND rating on the edge to make sure you are using the right one might take a magnifier or very young eyes to see. The thin profile also makes it challenging to change them out as you have to grab them towards the back side to get a grip on it so you don’t just end up turning the polarizer ring that is on the front side.This set comes in a nice plastic case with a magnetic closure, they fit the Osmo Action 4 perfectly, and I find them very useful to have on hand.
