We are always looking for ways to put our cameras into positions to give our viewers a unique look at the games we stream. This mount can be placed in tight positions that a monopod or tripod won’t go and still allow the fans in the stands to see around it. Granted this is for stationary cameras only, but in a lot of cases that’s exactly what is needed. Example to see the high / low pitch as it comes across the plate in baseball or over the plate umpire’s shoulder to see the ball from the pitchers release point to the catchers mitt. If you have kids in sports or you’re recording for your team this is good investment.

This is a very nice kit containing the camera case (which includes a USB powered fan!).The magic arm is short, but it does the job. There’s hardware to attach the magic arm to the magnetic hinged plate and the camera.The only issue with the hinged plate is that if you use both sets of magnets on a pole, there’s a certain diamter or larger it will work with. If you use it with one side on the pole and the other on the fencing, that’d be fine. Or, use all four magnets on the steel siding of a metal building or a steel clad door, or your car.Very nice.
