Fantastic product. My company uses a lot of off camera flash setups with a variety of different stands/clamps. We always seem to misplace hotshoe adapters and then have to scavenge off other stands. I have used cheaper plastic ones in a pinch and they really have no place in a professional photography setting. These on the other hand are a great balance between cost and quality. They are made of quality metal and seem well made…at least for what I use them for. I have a handful of them now and will continue to order them in the future if I need more. The

These work as described although one popped loose and I lost the tiny spring inside. I can still use it however so no loss there.

These are not the highest quality adapters, but are of a sufficient balance between cost and quality that they deserve to be in your kit bag. It’s a great price point to keep you from fretting about leaving a few behind or tearing out threads. The powder coating seems prone to flaking, but a little enamel paint or gaffer’s tape should solve the problem.General workmanship is adequate, if a little unfinished. I find that with most of these bargain adapters there is usually one or two that weren’t deburred properly, or are tapped a little unevenly, but nothing that prevents use (if you do get a splinter or burr, sand it off before attaching to your flash – they’re conductive, of course).Order a handful 🙂

I was a bit uncomfortable with the price when I first purchased these, but after receiving them and seeing their build quality and the large knurled adjustment/tightening screw on the side, was impressed with their quality and function and wished my other brand brackets had a similar feature and quality. I feel very secure with them holding my flash heads and will eventually replace my other lessor flash brackets with more of this same item. They worked perfectly for attaching a variety of my Canon and Yongnuo flashes to brass spigots in my light stands.
