The media could not be loaded.I am blown away at how far these have come! I have been using a traditional manual slider for nearly two decades to add some subtle motion to corporate and commercial shoots. Motorized ones were too expensive at the time. This is amazing!I love that you can set the rotation bar so that it moves along the track and keeps your subject in the frame if you want it to. The biggest reason I picked this one over others (Neewer, etc) is that this one has the remote instead of an app. I don’t like needing to use an app to control it, and Neewer and others only offer the remote if you get the larger more expensive sizes. Otherwise you need to purchase it separately. I like that GVM includes it on even the smaller tracks, no app here. The cons? Well, you have to set the start and end points manually. Every time. Like, it will forget every time you turn it off and will try next time to smash the trolley into the walls if you don’t set it first. That’s annoying. It should have persistent memory or something to set. OR at least something to detect when you’ve reached the end and stop trying to continue once you get there. The UI took a while to get used to as well, but overall I’m super impressed at how versatile it is!
