The set of filters work well and the threads makes them easy to separate and install. The only issue I had is the ND1000 which can only be used in very bright situation.I use 2 step-up rings (72 to 86, and 77 to 86) for 2 of my lenses (28-105mm F4 and 16-35mm F4) that I use with my Sony A7R2 and A7R4. Smooth threading allows me to change filters easily.I bought this as I find my Haida pro system (100x100mm) filters too bulky on trips with lots of walking.

Happy with this gobe filter kit. Quality is solid , image quality is sharp and it has the basic filters that I needed. Have purchased quite a few gobe filters and will continue purchasing them.

I really appreciate things that are well made, clever, and serve a purpose beyond their intended use. This Gobe filter kit hits all those targets and then some. From the uniformly high quality optical glass to the well machined and coated threaded rings, and from the clever nested stack with machined top and bottom caps to the promise to help deforested regions of the planet recover, these filters acquit themselves well when compared to others on the market, even ones costing two or three times more. Highly recommended.

I like these filters a lot. The screw on lens cap is especially useful when storing the ones that are not being used.Although I have little use for the neutral density, the others are of high enough quality to make up for one that I probably won’t ever use.I’d buy them again and trust this company for other filters and accessories. (GOBE 3 Filter kit 52 mm. UV, polorizing and neutral density)

While not as good as some of the higher end filters, Gobe is a good middle of the road. I have not had any cross-threading issues nor problems with image quality. I like they include a re-usable metal can. They do nicely use all cardboard instead of a plastic insert of some type. That said, their “earth impact” MIGHT be slightly less than some other company as they still use electricity to make these, and gas to deliver them, so I see their environmental message as largely marketing and I would not buy these thinking you are giving the environment a big hug. That’s what they want you to think, but that’s what good marketing is all about.
