Mr. Dock Kunze –
I bought this item thinking that I may have an issue with how tight it may fit. Given some of the past reviews saying that it didn’t fit, or they had to force it in to make it work. I didn’t have to do either. It fits so perfectly, and so snug, just the way I needed it to fit. The camera is on a jib, so having a tight fit is very important so it does not come loose while filming shots. It worked like a charm. I would suggest this item to anyone who needs it.

Works great with my Sony A330. The amperage output rating on the power supply is pretty darn high, I don’t think it can actually output that much. But for my low-amperage use, it works great.

Just a note to say I received my power supply yesterday and wanted to use it last night (12/3/2020) for some long shooting session with my camera (Sony SLT-A77V).Inserting the plug into the camera – I did have trouble getting the plug to go in, like it was too big, but I used a little more force after verifying I had it oriented correctly and it finally inserted and worked perfectly. This morning (12/4/2020) I found the note in the box about this issue. It reassured me I had done the right thing using a little more force to get the plug to go in.Now the plug inserts smoothly without the extra force. It is a snug fit which means it’s not going to fall out accidentally.

I ordered this to power my Sony A77II DSLR camera, which I’ve been using for video shoots. I was tired of constantly worrying about keeping the battery charged, and swapping it every couple of hours, so set about looking for a power supply. The Sony branded one sells for almost 80 bucks (!), which seems a little overpriced to me. I searched Amazon and found this 3rd party power supply, which functions identically to the Sony one. I’ve used it now for several shoots, and it has performed flawlessly, for 1/5th the price of the Sony, and I had it in only 2 days! Sweet! No more battery swapping for me!

I can attest that it fits both my Sony A77V & A350 dslr cameras. A note was included with product saying customers have returned it because it doesn’t fit, yet it really does. Yes, this is true, it is a very snug fit for the first couple of tries. I took a fine nail file a lightly ran it once on the 90° corners of the rubber only, not the metal, just a tad, and the connector fit perfectly into the camera receptacle. Molding process of the accessory plug probably left a bit of flashing on all the outer corners, no big deal. It breaks in later.Would like to see it have a small low lume LED lamp on the power converter on the output side to show it is charging the camera, and another on the 110 side to show it is getting power from house current.
