The dogs keep it tight. Even the stock original falls out eventually. I have two 5d MkIII and have these on bothLost one of my hot shoe covers in India on one of the Mk III but it wasn’t the FotoTech–it was an original. Ordered another with bubble level!

Many of the the other hot shoe covers state they do not fit an M6. Fits perfectly. Not tested on Canon M6 Mark II
