I have owned one of these diffusers for years, and have used it extensively with Canon DSLRs and Canon flash units. This diffuser slips easily onto the flash and functions well with the flash head forward or tilted up or swiveled left or right. I have used it successfully at normal distances and with a 105mm Lester Dine dental lens for macro photos of frogs. It is a great value, is easy to use, and costs a fraction of what other diffusers cost at the local camera shop. It is compact and fits into any camera bag. It is also surprisingly durable. After five years or more of use, the original one I bought in a used camera kit had its elastic band starting to fray, so I bought two more from Amazon to make sure I had sufficient backups.

This diffuser met my criteria.I’ve been very happy with the photographs I’ve taken using the diffuser.
