The media could not be loaded.I’ve searched high and low after myOEM “plastic” cold/hot shoe broke for something to replace it and enable me to install an older flash interface unto a monopod or tripod. I looked at detailed pictures on a lot of them that are available online, that will accommodate the pins in the bottom of my older speedlite. I found this accidentally and it worked well since I got it. The parts are mostly made of metal material, which will tell you that it will last you a little bit compared to the plastic ones. You have options to install an umbrella and a choice of either 1/4 ot 3/8 thread male and female on the flash end and the tripod end. You can also adjust the main body into different angles, just by loosening a knob and tightening back once you get the angle that you need.One little fluke that I noticed about this product is on the cold shoe part, there are a couple of tension Springs that will come off if you lose the cold shoe knob all the way. But I was able to remedy this by hot glueing one end of it into the main body of the cold shoe to keep them from flying away or falling off when you’re changing attachments on and off it.As I mentioned in the video this bracket, I would highly recommend to all photographers and photographers out there as one of an essential accessory. Specially, when you’re using those older speedlite that has the pins on its bottom.

The previous reviewers have found all the positive and negative sides of the product. I have very little to add.This is a good product. It is well designed.The only negative side I see is that the main handle – the one that stands out at 20 degrees angle – is unnecessarily big. It could be twice smaller. This may become important when packing the bracket in a small bag.

I have a small home studio and like to mount my cameras from the ceiling to save floor space. The problem with this is that the mounts that come down from the ceiling do not have the right angle for my camera. This little adapter works perfectly to change the mounting angle and allow me to position my cameras exactly where I need them. The adapter locks out solidly and I have never had them come loose when they shouldn’t.

I removed 1 star due to how difficult it is to adjust the angle however, other than that it works perfectly! The build quality is great and I love how the locking knob is adjustable so you can easily move the knob whenever you please simply by pulling it away and rotating it. I highly recommend

No problems here. I can’t imagine I would ever as this to hold something that it couldn’t handle. My 100W Aperture with 47″ softbox is no issue for this.
