What a bargain for landscape shooters. This lens is everything it promises to be: small, light, and very sharp.It’s not suitable for everybody. It requires you to use manual focus, and to manually set the aperture. It doesn’t communicate with the camera, so the EXIF data on your images will not identify the lens, and the shooting aperture will not be recorded.If you want to shoot handheld in low light, the maximum aperture of only f/5.6 will require you to push your ISO settings higher, where noise becomes more of an issue. And if you compare it to other super-ultra-wide-angle lenses, you will find that it’s probably actually around 9.5 millimeters, giving a slightly narrower field of view than a true 9 mm lens, though still wider than 10 mm lenses.Lastly, it can be hard to come up with interesting compositions with this crazy-wide view. Everything in the image seems far away, unless you’re positioned nearly on top of it. But as I said before, it performs very well in terms of sharpness/resolution. If you enjoy a challenge, then this lens is for you.
