Rene Jacobi DVM –
These do exactly what I wanted them to do. They screw right on my lighting rig and also my tripod and they hold my speed light. They’re metal too, which is nice. 4 stars not 5 because there was some flashing on the threads of one of the 5 mounts that had to be scraped away before it screwed on right.

I bought these Hot Shoe Brackets to build stands for some of my video lighting accessories. They work great! They are well built from aluminum and other quality materials. I usually mount them using the center hole that is tapped to accept a standard 1/4 inch machine screw. Now I can mount my new LED lights on a tripod or anywhere around the shop/studio.

These are nice little Hot Shoe Flash Bracket adapters – I have three light stands that have a standard screw set so these things come in handy when you lose one or need to add another. They also allow you to attach your flash units to standard tripods that have the standard 1/4 inch screw. There is not a whole lot to say about the Hot shoe adapters other than they work. They are metal so be careful when you are attaching your flash units to them, you do not want to cause damage to the actual mount from the flash and so far my Canon 600s, my 430 ex2 and my Yonguno (sp) flashes have all worked fine sitting on these bracket adapters.Overall fine product !

These hot shoes are great for mounting flash units off camera because they are robust, and use an Arca Swiss like clamping device to hold the flash int the shoe helped with the heavy duty screw tightener. Your flash unit will be much safer than it would be putting it in a normal hot shoe without any other protection against falling out of the shoe. Excellent and inexpensive way to protect your equipment.
