   This lens works fine for extreme closeups. That is what a macro lens does. The standard lens will focus down to about 8 -10 inches. This lens will focus to about two inches, thus enlarging what you can take a picture of.It will not enlarge a view. That is a telephoto lens. Again, this is for closeup. It should NOT be labeled 15x that is misleading.It was very difficult to remove the standard cover lens. See the video. I had to find another video on using credit cards to help the rotation. This lens was easy to add once the stock cover lens was removed.

   Although it did fit the camera as it is supposed to,it doesn’t work while attached inside the Waterproof housing (which is what I was hoping for.
